This privacy policy describes how Kameh LTD. (hereinafter "Kameh") processes your personal data in connection with the app "HouseHood".

In case the app "Househood" is purchased via the Google Play Store, Kameh's British sister company Kameh Limited ("Kameh UK"; Adress; 71-771-75, Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, UNITED KINGDOM; Contact details: Tel.no.: +43 676 879618029 and email: support@househood.com carries out the purchase transaction as a licensed reseller of Kameh and consequently collects and processes personal data. In the course of the app purchase Kameh UK collects and processes personal data in the same way as Kameh does in the course of app purchase via the iTunes Store. With respect to app purchases via the Google Play Store, Kameh and Kameh UK act as joint controllers in the sense of Art 26 GDPR. Hence, Kameh and Kameh UK agreed that Kameh shall be responsible for the joint obligations arising from data protection law.

  1. Personal data and data processing

Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (so-called "data subject"). For example: Name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, IP-address. In addition, there are also special categories of personal data (so-called "sensitive data"), e.g., health data or data in connection with criminal proceedings. Personal data is only collected if you provide it yourself. Cookies and server log files are processed in the course of using the app, for more information see point 6 of this privacy policy.

This policy applies to all information we collect through the app that you download through Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store, each of which provides dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the app.

Within the scope of the using of the app "HouseHood", the following personal data is being processed:

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • Gender
  • E-mail address and phone number
  • Customer number
  • Year of birth
  • List of bought items
  • Data processed with cookies and server log files (see point 6 of this privacy policy)
  • Other provided data like responses to surveys or the correspondences between you and Kameh
  • Location of added assets, details depend on the customer data providing (office, country, places, …)
  • existing insurance information for bought assets (to claim)
  • List of the shops where User has purchased
  • Correspondence between User and claim institution (Shop, insurance or producer)


  1. Automated decision making

Kameh does not use automated decision-making pursuant to Art 22 GDPR.

  1. Lawfulness of data processing

Kameh collects, processes and uses your personal data only if a legal basis in accordance to Art 6 para. 1 GDPR is given. Your data is processed in particular on the basis of the following legal basis:

4.1 Consent – Art 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR

The processing of your provided data via the contact form is based on your consent. You also have the option of consenting to receive advertising information. The scope and purposes of the processing operations depend on the underlying declaration of consent. You may revoke any consent given at any time with future effect via the app "HouseHood" or by notifying Kameh of such revocation at any time by telephone at

4.2 For the fulfilment of a contract – Art 6 para. 1 lit b GDPR

The legal basis for data processing based on a contract is based on Art 6 para. 1 lit b GDPR. This also includes data that Kameh processes for pre-contractual causes.

4.3 Legal obligations – Art 6 para. 1 lit c GDPR

If Kameh is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, Art 6 para. 1 lit c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

4.4 Legitimate interest – Art 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR

If the processing of personal data is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of Kameh or a third party, Art 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR serves as the legal basis. The legitimate interest consists in particular of,

  1. ensure the operation and management of the app.,
  2. to be able to carry out direct marketing activities,
  3. To ensure network and data security, but only to the extent that our legitimate interest is consistent with applicable law and with the rights and freedoms of our users,
  4. to be able to assert, exercise or defend legal claims,


  1. Transmission to and from third parties

Due to the complexity of certain data processing procedures today, it has become essential to provide certain services with the assistance of third parties. For this purpose, Kameh uses external service providers, e.g., for web hosting and IT systems, to whom your data is provided for this purpose. These service providers are processors within the meaning of Art 28 GDPR, who are contractually obligated to treat your data confidentially and to process your data only within the scope of their service provision. These processors include in particular the following:

It is possible that the recipient of your personal data is located outside the European Union or processes your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not correspond to that in Austria or other member states of the European Union. However, Kameh will only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or Kameh takes measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, for which Kameh concludes standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

Under certain circumstances, Kameh may be required by law to disclose your data to, for example, regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies. However, this is only to the extent necessary to prevent and/or detect fraud and other crimes or to ensure network and data security.

Kameh collects personal data not only directly from you when you provide it. Kameh collects personal data also from third parties, e.g., the Apple store or Google Play store.

The HouseHood App does not use any cookies.

A cookie is a small text file that stores settings. It is downloaded by your Internet browser the first time you open the website. The next time you open the website with the same device, the cookie and the information stored in it is sent back to the website that generated it (first party cookie). Provided that you use the same device as before, cookies remember, for example, your preferences, tell how you use a page and adapt the offers displayed to your personal interests and needs. Absolutely necessary cookies, also called "strictly necessary", ensure functions without which you could not use the website as intended. Such cookies ensure, if necessary, the functionality of the website.

If you delete all your cookies later, it will be necessary to perform the process again. If your security settings are too high and the cookie is blocked, Kameh will not be able to perform your opt-out request. You will be notified in this case and should repeat the opt-out process with lower security settings.

In order to optimise the website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and provision of useful information about services, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to Kameh. This includes your Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser, GPS coordinates and language setting, operating system, referrer URL, your Internet service provider and date/time as well as the content accessed. This data is not merged with personal data sources. Kameh reserves the right to check this data retrospectively if concrete indications of illegal use become known.

 

  1. Data security and data retention


Your personal data is protected by appropriate organizational and technical measures (precautions). These measures relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Please note that no liability whatsoever can therefore be accepted for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by Kameh and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of email account or telephone, interception of faxes).

The data will be processed and stored as long as this is necessary to fulfill contractual or legal retention obligations, to defend against any liability claims and for the duration of the declaration of consent. Kameh will ensure that your personal data is treated in accordance with this privacy policy for the entire period.


  1. Your rights as data subject

As a data subject you have rights in the sense of the GDPR (Art 15 to 22 GDPR):

  • The right of access and confirmation about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing.
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate personal data.
  • The right to erasure (right to be forgotten) under certain circumstances (Art 17 GDPR).
  • The right to restriction of processing under certain circumstances (Art 18 GDPR).
  • The right to data portability of your data.
  • The right to object to processing of personal data which is based on Art 6 para. 1 lit e or f GDPR.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by Kameh violates applicable data protection laws or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Gibraltar, the data protection authority (, www.gra.gi/data-protection) is responsible for this.

  1. Changes of the privacy policy

Kameh reserves the right to adapt this privacy policy if necessary, for example due to technical developments or legal changes, or to update it in connection with the offer of new services or products. The updated data protection information will be provided on www.househood.com or in HouseHood App / setting / legal/ privacy policy in each case. Please check the relevant section regularly.
